1. About us

This website, lumeaskin.co.uk, is operated by Lumëa Skin, a trading name of Dornelles Company ("we", "us", "our"), Rua da Agrela, N.º 165, 4582-245 Paredes, Porto, Portugal. You can contact us at hello@lumeaskin.co.uk. Our store is hosted on Shopify.

2. Using our website

By visiting our website or buying from us, you agree to these Terms of Service together with our Refund Policy, Shipping Policy and Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the website. You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or guardian, to place an order.

3. Products

We make every effort to display our products, colours and descriptions accurately, but colours may vary slightly depending on your screen, and packaging may change from time to time. Our skincare products and beauty devices are cosmetic products and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any medical condition. Results vary from person to person.

4. Safe use

Please read all instructions and warnings before use. Always carry out a patch test before using a new skincare product. Do not use LED or light-therapy devices if you are pregnant, photosensitive, have epilepsy, or are taking medication that increases light sensitivity, without first consulting a doctor. Stop using any product and seek medical advice if irritation occurs.

5. Prices and payment

All prices are in pounds sterling (GBP). Any applicable taxes and delivery charges are shown at checkout. We may change prices at any time, but changes will not affect orders already confirmed. If a product is listed at an obviously incorrect price due to an error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full.

6. Orders

Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we email you to confirm that your order has been dispatched. We may decline or cancel an order – for example if a product is out of stock, a pricing error has occurred, or we suspect fraud – in which case we will refund any payment in full.

7. Delivery

Delivery is covered in our Shipping Policy. Responsibility for the goods passes to you when they are delivered to the address you provided.

8. Cancellations, returns and refunds

Your right to cancel and our returns process are set out in our Refund Policy. These do not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

9. Our liability

We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss that is not foreseeable, or for business losses. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot be excluded under UK law, including your rights in relation to faulty or misdescribed goods.

10. Intellectual property

All content on this website – including text, images, logos and design – belongs to us or our licensors and may not be copied or used without our written permission.

11. Reviews and comments

If you submit a review or comment, you confirm it is your honest opinion and does not contain unlawful, offensive or misleading content. We may remove any content at our discretion.

12. Third-party links

Our website may contain links to other websites. We are not responsible for their content or practices.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force when you place your order will apply to that order.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
